Making a Lightbulb
46Intro
Hi, I'm going to introduce you to how to make a flashlight! you know when theres a blackout and your other flashlight is busted up.you can make this in case if that happens. Follow my steps and you'll probably have a nice looking flashlight with you. There are some pictures help you build a working flashlight.this is a way to help our environment instead of going out to buy a flashlight.this would be more funner and educational too.
Supplies Needed to make a Flash Light
- push switch or any other switch
- 2 "D" cell batteries
- 3 separated wires (stripped)
- masking tape (you can get any where)
- glue or glue gun (from a home depot store)
- a small led light(from a flashlight)(or buy at Home Depot)(1.7 to 3 watts)
- an adult to use the glue gun for you if child
Procedures
- First put one battery and another battery together.with tape. From a negative side to a positive.
- You should then use pliers to strip the small wires. On all sides.
- Than you put one wire on the negative side of the battery and one on the positive side of the battery.
- You should then get a push switch and attach two of the left-over wires to it.
- First put wire that connects to the negative side of the battery to the metal side of he led bulb and the positive on the bottom.
- Then you should put glue to attach them.
- If it does not work you should re-check again
- But if it still doesn't work then maybe you have to get new batteries or the bulb is to strong for the batteries to work on.
- If you have made this you are then helping the environment by reusing the objects i have listed before.
- You should also tape the whole thing so it doesn't break when you have an emergency
This is a great item to build if you have a project comeing or you can make it for yourself if any blackouts accour.
